How we approach solar panel cleaning.
Dust, pollen, lichen and bird fouling reduce the light reaching the cells. We clean with deionised water through soft brush heads on a telescopic pole, so there is no contact with the roof covering and no detergent residue.
Because pure water dries without leaving mineral deposits, the panels stay cleaner for longer and there is nothing left on the glass to attract new soiling.
We work only where safe access allows, and we never walk on panels or fixings.
